Song MeaningI believe Nick is singing about how falling in love makes us vulnerable. In the beginning of the song he is in her sights because he loves her. Then he goes on to describe the feeling of being of love. Later he is singing about the feeling of being in love but afterwards he feels like his emotional commitment is dangerous because soon she will shoot him down, in flames.
